About the play:

Nona the Mind Reader is based on Orit Gidali's successful book of the same name.

This is the story of Nona and her family. Nona is a girl detective. She’s gathering clues about a new kid who just arrived in the neighborhood. But when they meet, he insults her and says she has the legs of a flamingo. In response, Nona's mother gives her a magic device through which she can read other people's minds. Thus, Nona understands the gap between text and subtext, and learns to overcome it and see what people really mean when they're talking. Along the way, she meets a cast of colorful characters: the completely self-absorbed mayor, a beggar who tells daring stories in his mind about his time as a pirate, and of course her cat, Shibbolet, who worries he has the legs of a chicken.

 From the reviews:

"The story is original and entertaining; the four actors give us an ironic and pleasant performance"

 Shay Bar Yaakov, Yediot Aharonot

"Much of the power of the play is in the excellent text, which flows and advances the plot gracefully, combined with original pieces of music written by Kobi Lilian and a polished performance by the actors... This play provides a real theatre experience!"

Noga Shavit Raz

Lior Michaeli received Honorable Mention for Best Actor for his portrayal of Shibbolet
