About the play:

A children's adaptation of the great playwright's immortal play, it was presented as the flagship production of the Haifa International Children's Theatre Festival 2019.

The play tells the story of Viola, an aristocratic young lady who is the only survivor after her ship sinks. She takes on the fake identity of the servant Cesario – which leads to a series of misunderstandings.

 From the reviews:

"The Haifa Children's Theatre Festival's main play, “Twelfth Night," enjoys good editing and impressive design work, which gives it a cheerful, circus-like appearance. This abridged version, created by director Ronnie Brodetzky with the Haifa Theatre's ensemble of young actors, enjoys excellent editing of the text (in a gracefully translation by Dori Parnes), and the addition of joyful songs only enhance the carnival atmosphere. The striking work of costume designer Shira Weiss and set designer Shani Tor gives the show a jolly and grotesque circus look. The production deserves praise as an excellent and serious artistic attempt to make Shakespeare accessible to children. "
